  On today May 4,2026 I had the displeasure of visiting the UPS store located at 2800 Old Dawson Road Albany, Ga to drop off a Amazon return the guy at the register farthest from the door was sneezing repeatedly and made attempt to cover his mouth although there was nothing preventing him from covering his mouth. I searched my purse for a mask in which I normally have one but I didn’t they were in the car “I did not want to walk into that haze of spit uncovered “ . So I opted for a paper towel I had in my purse and covered my nose/mouth he said I will not serve you doing all that I don’t have a cold I’m not gonna serve you. It made sense to him for me to not be be concerned about my health but it was okay to sneeze into the air with me not knowing why he was sneezing. I was glad to have someone else take that return customer service has gone out of the window. Or could it been because he’s a Caucasian and I’m an African American does that make his spit safer?

  Showed up with my son with a confirmed booked appointment, booked on the UPS Store website with a confirmation number and email, for passport photos. The appointment was for 2:00PM on April 14th. We arrived on-time, stood in line waiting for an associate to wait on us, and once it was our turn we were met with rude and dismissive attitudes. We were told that they “didn’t have a wall to do photos” and they only did photos in the mornings. We were told that they won’t honor the online appointment we have despite having the confirmation number and email. So I said, basically you are refusing to provide us with a service we were promised through your website? He answered, “yes”. I told them thanks for your lack or service and walked out. Not only was this inconvenient for us but the attitude and apathy were ridiculous. There was no apology. There was no concern. There was no effort to help. It was basically, get out of the way so I can help the next person.

  This store is always so clean and nice. Maddy assisted me with my shipments today, she was patient and kind. Hard to find good and thoughtful workers these days but she brightened my day up! Will definitely be back.
