  I don't like leaving negative reviews, but this one is bothering me. Notary service seekers should know that if you need notary services here, be prepared for extra hurdles. The notary at this location consistently misunderstands the basic legal role of a notary public, which is simply to verify identity and witness a signature, not to audit or evaluate the document itself. On one occasion, I was told a document had to be fully translated before it could be notarized, even though the notary is only authenticating the identity of the person signing. On another visit, the notary refused to notarize a Power of Attorney unless I produced an underlying death certificate, something a recipient bank will eventually need, but that a notary has zero legal cause to demand. Are we all driving around town with our deceased loved ones most sacred files? Unless you want to bring an entire accordion folder of personal backup records just to get a standard signature witnessed, save yourself the gas and take your notary business elsewhere. Only reason for the 3 stars is for their shipping services which have never disappointed.

  Stay away from this store. They charge you an extra $5 just to pick up a package on top of the subscription you already pay to UPS.
