I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with FedEx and the unacceptable handling of my package delivery.
For two consecutive days, I spent my time constantly monitoring the tracking information because my package required a signature. I made every effort to ensure I would be available when the driver arrived. Despite this, FedEx twice claimed that delivery attempts were made when no attempt was actually made. No one knocked on my door, no one called, and no delivery notice was left. The drivers simply marked the package as undeliverable and moved on.
From my perspective, this appears to be a complete failure to perform the basic duties of the job. It is incredibly frustrating to be told that delivery was attempted when I was actively waiting for the package and know with certainty that no one ever came to my door. It seems the drivers did not want to make the effort to come upstairs and complete the delivery.
What makes this even more concerning is that I am not the only resident experiencing this issue. Multiple residents in my building have reported similar problems with FedEx drivers claiming delivery attempts were made when no actual attempt occurred. This appears to be a recurring pattern rather than an isolated incident, which raises serious concerns about the reliability and accountability of FedEx’s delivery operations in this area.
As a result, I spent days playing a frustrating game of cat and mouse, rearranging my schedule and repeatedly checking tracking updates, only to be misled by inaccurate delivery information. I called FedEx multiple times, filed complaints, and escalated the matter to supervisors. Despite these efforts, I received no meaningful resolution.
To make matters worse, I was later informed that my package would be available at a FedEx location. I went to the location expecting to finally receive it, only to be told that the package was not there. The representative offered little assistance beyond a simple apology and showed no urgency or concern for the situation. The lack of customer service, communication, and accountability was astonishing.
This package is expensive, important, and something I have needed urgently. Instead of receiving the service I paid for, I have been left chasing answers while FedEx continues to hold my package. The entire experience has demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, empathy, integrity, and respect for customers.
What is most concerning is the apparent absence of accountability. Drivers can falsely report delivery attempts, customers can file complaints, and yet there seem to be no consequences or corrective actions. This creates an environment where poor service is tolerated at the expense of paying customers.
This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have ever encountered. I have completely lost confidence in FedEx’s ability to provide reliable delivery service. Based on this experience, I will actively seek alternative shipping providers whenever possible.
FedEx should thoroughly investigate this matter, provide an explanation for the false delivery attempt records, and take immediate action to improve customer service, driver accountability, and delivery accuracy within its operations.
