Every time I’ve ordered to-go and then shown up 15- 18 minutes after ordering (when the app says it’s ready), it’s NEVER on the to-go shelf.
This forces me to wait behind 6+ people in front of me who just walked in to place an order, while my sub, which was ordered 30 minutes ago (by the time I get to it), just sits behind them on the counter getting cold.
Sure, I could say, “excuse me” and squeeze through, then go in front of everybody else, then interrupt them in the middle of making someone else’s sub, ALL TO ASK FOR MY ALREADY WAITING SUB….but It’s uncomfortable, rude, annoying, and pointless on ALL accounts, and I shouldn’t have to anyway.
If they would take 10 seconds to put the to-go orders on the shelf when they are ready.
It actually helps the Customer and the Employee!
1. We won’t be forced into choosing between (waiting another 10+ min behind the line that just walked in) or being that obnoxious person and going in front of others.
2. THEY won’t have to be interrupted or bothered-plus it clears people out faster.
Just finish the task. That's all. You did all the work and got the to-go order all ready. It’s all finished. Just put it on the shelf.
Can’t tell you how annoying it is to stand there for (no less then 5 min usually much more) knowing that you…not only ordered your sandwich way before the people in front of you probably even thought about lunch…. but that you get to watch your hot sub sit on a counter getting cold behind the employees while they make seven more subs before they can even see you.
PLEASE USE THE GO SHELF - FOR EVERYONE’S SAKE!
