It is unbelievable the poor customer service I received today, April 22 at 11:30 a.m., from an employee at this Subway location. I am a regular customer, and this is the first time I have been treated so badly.
From the moment I arrived, she did not respond to my greeting and, with a rude attitude, asked what I wanted to order. I requested a sandwich and a tuna bowl. The spinach was in very poor condition, yet she still added it to my bowl. When I asked if there was fresh spinach available, she rudely said no.
I also asked for cheese, but she did not include it. She closed the bowl and placed it at the register, and I had to insist for her to add it. She did so reluctantly, in a rough and disrespectful manner.
Additionally, it was clear that she was not familiar with the process. She even had to ask how many scoops of tuna to serve, which makes me think she might be new. I understand that someone may still be learning; my concern is not that, but the attitude shown toward customers. It is important that employees in these roles are properly trained and willing to provide good service.
I do not speak English fluently, but I have no problem communicating since I use a translator and clearly showed her what I wanted. Even so, she seemed confused or unwilling to understand. I am not sure if it was intentional, but her attitude made the situation worse.
To make matters worse, she made a comment to another person about me not speaking English. I let her know that I understood her, and that the real issue was her attitude.
Additionally, I asked for a bag to carry my order, and she told me no. As a result, I had to carry my food in my hands, getting sauce on myself since the container was messy on the outside.
The service provided by this employee was unacceptable: no professionalism and no customer service skills. I do not recommend this location.
