See update below) I have been changing my own oil and using Advance Auto Parts for over 35 years across multiple states, but the customer service at this store is completely toxic. I went in to recycle oil, following the exact same protocol I’ve used for decades. A tall, middle-aged employee with a long gray/white beard (who may be the manager) rushed me, bowed his chest out, and aggressively shouted at me for walking to the back drum. When I went back inside to address his hostile tone, he became completely defensive. I tried to explain my frustration more than once, but he completely ignored my feedback, repeatedly doubled down on his defensiveness, and spoke to me like a child. Before walking out, I explicitly gave him the chance to apologize, and he just stared at me in total silence. This is the same employee who previously upsold me on a full AC compressor kit for the "lifetime warranty," but conveniently hid the fine print: if the compressor fails, you have to rip out and return every single part of the kit to get a replacement. When it failed, he refused to budge. Between the predatory sales tactics and an interaction today that felt closer to a physical altercation than retail service, this guy is a massive liability. Take your business down the road to O'Reilly's or Autozone. Update: I sent an email to their corporate office. I received a non-automated response to my email the next day and also just received a phone call from their District Manager over this store's location. Post communication has been professional, including sincere apologies and most importantly a commitment to work with this employee to correct customer relation practices and behavior. I will give this location another chance in the future.

  We had the pleasure of shopping at the Lynn Haven store this morning. Orville was helpful and installed the fob battery on the spot!

  I went there to pick up parts and Mr. Jack saved me a whole bunch of money. He was both kind and professional. When my family and friends need auto parts and professional help, you better believe I will be recommending Mr. Jack and Advanced Auto Parts in Lynn Haven across from Wal-Mart. I thank them for their service and support to the folks of Bay County!
