  I wanted so badly to leave a 5 star review, based on the Advance store in Dunedin I originally purchased my battery from 6 years ago. But after my move and needing to finally replace it, I naturally went to my new local Advance store near me. I was greeted by 2 young ladies: The 1st was in training, but obviously needed much more. I could accept that if she did not deliberately lie to me. The second young lady had a personality like my elbow and was in charge of installing the new battery. This one also lied to me and carried on the deception, but did not know how to install a battery. If it wasn't for a young male employee who finally got involved I'd probably still be there. (Sorry, I didn't get his name for a compliment, but during our conversation he mentioned he had been with Advance for 6 years. To him I would give a 6 star rating). All I said when I walked in was, "I want the identical battery I have now". And I asked both ladies multiple times if it was the same battery. If it wasn't for the keen eye of the young man who finally did the installation, I would have been sold the wrong battery just to make the sale. Mine was not in stock, and I had to wait half an hour for delivery of the correct one from another store. And that I can accept also. But what I cannot accept is all the lies and deception coming from both girls. So to the young man who stepped in, my sincere thanks for your knowledge. But this had not been my only bad experience with Advance and I believe this points to a much deeper managerial issue coming from the higher ups. Fortunately for me, Advance is not the only car parts store in town.

  The lady there was very nice I think she was a manager I just didn't get her name I was quick in and out!

  This place is really great - incredibly fast, friendly, affordable service. My battery died next door in the Target parking lot, so they lent me a feee jump start kit, then tested my battery (dead) and replaced it, from the time my battery died to the time I had a new one fully installed was 25 minutes!

  DALLAS when above and beyond to help me today. We need more young men. I'm happy to be at work like him. Come on, management, give this guy a raise.
