Customer service at the UPS Connerton location is poor and the 'manager' lady is rude and off-putting. I tried to return an Amazon package on Saturday and she said she wasn't accepting barcode returns until Thursday. I don't know if it's because she just didn't want to do her job, out of laziness, or the location had a system shutdown impeding her from doing her job. I had to go to another location to drop off my return and had no issue. It's not my first time there. The lady always seems miserable, always complaining, and has zero sense of customer service. Management comes from the top down. Hire better people and improve your customer service if you want to keep your customers.
Avoid Glinda in this office. She has dark hair and dimples, probably in her 50’s. She is unbelievably rude, lazy, moans and groans while acting like doing her job is such an inconvenience. She made an error on my return, missing costly items I returned because she scanned incorrectly due to her bad attitude not wanting to work. I then had to call to correct HER mistake and she again, was equally rude over the phone. Her behavior is unacceptable and both my husband and I have had the same experience with her. I am genuinely perplexed why people like this remain in jobs they are miserable in and work customer facing, rather than behind a desk where they aren’t having to interact with people. I’ve called and spoken to management about her and will be pleased when she loses her job. Maybe it will inspire her to work in a non-customer service role.

I went to this location to return a package from Amazon. I ordered two sets of curtains rods. So when I requested the return label I only received one, because I purchased it as a set. Claudia the manager was very rude to me stating I have to call Amazon to get two labels I did not understand as I never ever had to do this I order and return from Amazon daily. The curtain rods came in two separate packages but were ordered together so one invoice. I stayed in the building and contacted Amazon and said again they can only give me one. Claudia still was not friendly and was giving rude remarks . My five year sold was holding one box and leaned it again the wall, she told him he couldn’t do that. So he moved away, I took the box myself and held it. He then walked behind me while I was getting it he return label and went to go look at a decorate box and she came running up behind him” DO NOT TOUCH THAT” thankfully another customer was in this and saw/heard it. I said to her excuse me don’t correct my son he is just looking at it. She goes “well maybe you should be watching him” mind you he directly infront of me! I said excuse me ma”am there is no reason to be rude! Again another customer witnessed this interaction. Another worker Julia took me and said shell tape the boxes together I then took a picture because the manager was giving me nasty vibes so I wanted proof Julia tapped the boxes together. As I was leaving when Julia concluded with helping. The customer who witness it offered me to take her name and number as a witness if I would like to call cooperate and report this manager. Her comments, attitude were extremely uncalled for and disrespectful . To top it she made my 5 year old feel like he did something wrong JUST FOR LOOKING AT A DECORATIVE BOX! I am a owner of a business and cannot imagine even on bad day speaking to a customer the way she did to me today. For literally no reason. It’s a shame how today people feel they can talk/treat someone anyway they want and not get it back..
Without fail, every single time I bring an Amazon return to this UPS Store, there is a different problem and a different reason why they cannot accept the shipment. The package is labeled, packaged, and prepared exactly according to Amazon’s return instructions, yet there is always a new excuse or obstacle.
I have even contacted Amazon directly to verify I was following all return guidelines, and each time Amazon confirmed that I was. Despite that, this location continues to refuse or delay accepting returns for reasons that seem to change from visit to visit.
At this point, it feels like accepting Amazon returns is something this location actively tries to avoid. If you advertise that you accept Amazon returns, customers should not have to make multiple trips, call Amazon for verification, or argue over requirements that Amazon itself says have been met. This has been an incredibly frustrating and consistently poor customer experience.
