  This has to be the worse insurance company I have ever dealt with in my lifetime. I was hounded by this company and so-called salesman which I thought was going to be my personal agent for two years to change insurance. So I thought it was a great decision and I changed over. Ever since it’s been a nightmare. Do not file a claim because you do not have an agent and they are definitely not going to help you with anything. The only thing they are going to do is advise you to do it online. So in other words take care of it yourself! Last time I checked, I wasn’t an insurance agent that’s why I hired one! So I thought. They avoid your calls. They put it off on somebody else they play games with you. It is definitely a racket and all they give a crap about is their own pocket and how they get paid. Once they have you sign on that dotted line they are DONE! Your car is always worth a hell of a lot when you have to pay them, but when it comes time for them to pay you out for a claim, guess what, your car is worth nothing no matter how well you take care of it. Insurance is not fair and this company is the worst. I filed a claim and I feel like that Allstate is not acting in my best interest at all. They are not for the client so be aware, be very aware!!!! I recently had a tree limb not the whole tree fall on my car and before they even picked it up to take it the facility to assess the damages, they had already totaled it. They lied to me. They have scammed me. They have the damages assessed at approximately $2000 less than what the car is worth. So why would you total it? I need that car. My daughter needs that car. We don’t have the money to buy a new car. We took care of that car. We paid full coverage insurance on that car. However, when it comes time for the client to get paid out for what they’ve paid in for so long, you get pennies on the dollar. Then to top it off if you want to pay for the damages and buy the car back, you have to pay for a new title and everything else as if the car wasn’t even yours to begin with. I have not signed one document, and they have taken it upon their selves to do whatever they want as if they’re closing the claim. This is not fair. This is not in my best interest and I feel like that I have been taken advantage of since the day I signed the declaration page. They are all nice and act like they’re going to be there for you until the day comes that you need them, then you are nobody and they just hang up on you. Insurance is a total scam and it’s all about the So-called “agents“ sales people is what they really are! So hopefully, I have gotten my point across and anyone that reads this will definitely steer clear of this Bascom agency and Allstate altogether. Just FYI my Agents name was Garrett and not once has he reached out to me personally. For a matter of fact he avoided my calls from day one when I reached out for help with the claim process! I just wish I would have given him the same lack of respect when he was calling me nonstop for over a year and half to switch insurance companies!! Switching to this company has been the biggest regret I have ever had!!! BEWARE!!! STAY AWAY! PS I would have given them no stars if It was possible.

  Heather was fabulous. I received a renewal from my Insurance Company and I called her. She took care of cancelling everything while I was on the phone, and told me I have a refund coming. Yay!!!!

  Heather Didonato goes above and beyond. She recently saved me much on my auto policy and followed up to ensure all actions were complete. I have been with The Bascom Agency for several years and maintain all my policies through them. Highly recommend.
