  1-Star Review Extremely disappointing experience. I drove **30 minutes to this DHL location**, only to have an employee open and inspect my package and then tell me they would not ship it. For context, my mother-in-law recently passed away, and my family has been dealing with the insurance company for months. We finally reached a resolution, but the insurance company issued the check in my wife’s name instead of her sister’s name. Because the check needs to be sent to Trinidad, my wife signed the check so her sister could receive and cash it there. I brought the signed check to DHL expecting to be able to ship it securely. Instead, after opening the package and inspecting the contents, the store simply refused to accept it. No meaningful explanation was provided, no alternative was offered, and I was essentially left to figure it out myself after driving 30 minutes to the location. I understand that DHL may have policies regarding what can and cannot be shipped. What is incredibly frustrating is that there was no clear explanation of the policy and no attempt to help us find a solution. After everything my family has gone through with this loss and the insurance process, this was an unnecessarily frustrating experience. 1 star. I would strongly recommend calling ahead and confirming that DHL will actually accept your shipment before making the trip.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Above-and-Beyond Service from Jennifer at DHL Jennifer at DHL went above and beyond for me. A last-minute delivery change was needed while my package from China was already on the truck. DHL handled the change perfectly, and Jennifer volunteered to call me if the package returned to the office before closing. It did. She remembered. She called and emailed! That kind of personal follow-through is increasingly rare. Excellent service from DHL, and special thanks to Jennifer for keeping her word, and taking that extra step. Highly recommend!
