  Let me just say I’ve worked in retail for years and I order things online and pick up in the store all the time. Ulta, Sephora, Old Navy, Bath and body Works, Victoria’s Secret, etc. You name it. I have never been treated as rudely as I was when I went to pick up an online order at Michael Kors. My husband‘s card has his name on it and I use that card to make purchases as many women do. The order number, receipt and confirmation of the purchase were all sent to my email. My email that is registered with Michael Kors. I showed that I lived at the same address with my drivers license and I had the receipt for the order. I even had a representative from Michael Kors on the phone. The people I dealt with today at the MK outlet - the mousy looking manager and the dark haired male, chose to be stubborn and petty. They absolutely would not even make an exception for me. Even with the MK Representative agreeing with me while I had her on speakerphone. They knew I drove 45 minutes to get there and had my son waiting in the car. I felt very discriminated against and I do not recommend this location because it’s clear the needs to be sensitivity and customer service training. The mousy, scared looking manager that stood off to the side and did not help at all needs to learn how to make an executive decision. Even though it’s “their policy”, she had the power to make the situation right and she chose not to. I have filed a complaint with Michael Kors, the representative was on the phone and heard the whole thing. Now my husband gets to go in there, on his way home from work and pick up my purse and I feel bad for the associate that he has to deal with.

  I want to give a hugh shout out to Chloe at Ellenton outlet. She went above and beyond to help me find a purse I had previously seen, but somehow forgot to purchase while I was at the store. I live 1 1/2 hours away, so it was not an option to just go back to the store. I called to see if she could help me get the name of the purse as I could not find it online at all. She took my number and texted back and forth with me sending pictures until we found the purse I was looking for. That is excellent customer service right there. Thank you so much Chloe, You Rock!

  Customer service is terrible. I purchased a purse in Jan 2026 and the purse is peeling. I looked up the exchange policy and online it states the store can exchange the purse for one of equal value since it was less than a year old, really only about 2 months old. Unfortunately the manager, Kenan, said they are unwilling to help and to contact corporate for a gift card because they will not do exchanges in store. I contacted corporate who stated the store can offer an exchange, but since the store refused they will try to accommodate me with photos. I provided corporate the photos and am waiting on a response. I’d rather purchase from a store who stands behind their products. I will not be shopping here again. I suggest you research before buying Michael Kors these days, apparently the peeling on the sides/seems is typical for their brand because they use a cheap leather glue that does not withstand normal use for purses.
