Jessica at the Advance Auto Parts in Destin completely restored my faith in customer service.
After having a terrible experience at another location while trying to return a defective starter that was less than a year old, I walked into the Destin store expecting another headache. Instead, Jessica took the time to actually listen, review the documentation, and evaluate the situation professionally.
I had my receipt, the defective part, and proof of payment. Rather than making assumptions or treating me like I was trying to pull something over on the store, Jessica approached the situation with common sense, professionalism, and respect. She investigated the issue, verified the information, and processed the return without any unnecessary drama.
What stood out most was her attitude. She was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed interested in helping solve the problem rather than creating one. In today’s world, that level of customer service is becoming increasingly rare.
Jessica is exactly the kind of employee every business hopes to have representing their company. She turned what had been an incredibly frustrating experience into a positive one and reminded me why customer service matters.
Thank you, Jessica, for treating customers with dignity and respect and for going above and beyond to help. Because of you, I’ll gladly return to the Destin Advance Auto Parts location for my future automotive needs.

The Destin location consistently has my orders ready in a timely fashion. They are my go to location for anything car or truck related.

Tamarius was very kind and helpful, he made me feel relieved and took care of my concerns quickly. Definitely recommended
0/10 recommend — I just went up there to see if they could test my battery since my car had died on me and the gentleman didn’t even seem to want to help. He ended up coming outside with the machine and telling me that he wasn’t able to test my battery due to it sprinkling (It had just stopped raining). He overall, showed no interest in wanting to help me & was very short with me. The lady inside told me he went by the name Jason. Very disappointing.
I stopped into the store today needing help with my license plate lights, as both globes had blown. I’d been trying to figure out how to unplug the tail light myself, but wasn’t having any luck.
The lovely guy behind the counter mentioned they don’t normally do globe replacements, but kindly offered to have a quick look for me anyway. Within less than 10 minutes he had unplugged the lights, replaced both globes, and had everything working perfectly.
He couldn’t have been more helpful. Such friendly and genuine service — I really appreciated him taking the time to help me out.
10/10 Highly recommend!
