I wanted to share a disappointing experience I had at the Subway in Crystal River, Florida.
I placed an online order for a wrap to pick up. When I arrived, I asked if I could purchase a side of peppercorn ranch dressing to go with my meal. The employee/manager, Brittany, told me she would not sell me a side of dressing because the wrap was “not customizable” and that it violated their wrap policy.
To be clear, I wasn’t asking for my wrap to be remade or changed. I simply wanted to buy a side of peppercorn ranch dressing with my order. I was willing to pay for it, but I was told no because of their “wrap regulations.”
I’ve been to many Subway locations and have never been refused the opportunity to purchase a side of dressing. Customer service is about finding reasonable solutions, especially when a customer is willing to pay for the item they’re requesting.
I’m sharing this because I genuinely want to know if this is an actual Subway policy or if this was simply how this particular location chose to handle the situation. It was frustrating to be denied the chance to purchase something as simple as a side of dressing.
