  This business does not properly display tow away signs. I parked here after closing and did not see any signs saying no parking tow away zone and when I came back my car was gone all the way in Tampa in the middle of the night. When I finally saw tow signs they were hidden and had other cars obstructing the sign so I had no idea

  My car battery died while I was at Walmart Market Place in Valrico. My roadside service came and gave me a jump and he said it was probably just a dead battery. So I went to Advanced Auto in Brandon, which I have been to before and gotten good service so I went back again. I went in and Steven helped me right away. Came out to my vehicle with his battery checker thingy (lol) and it was differently the battery. We went back in he checked his computer and they had it in stock and went out and changed it out very quickly. And I was back on the road. Steven thank you for your service and professionalism. Advice Auto Parts has a great employee working for them.

  My nephew had his car towed at 10:30 at night after parking in their parking lot for five minutes! Their store was closed and no one was there. Do not do business with a company that hires towing services to monitor the parking lot that is attached to a restaurant and is willing to tow a car for a five minute pick up of food! This type of business does not care about people or customers. It cares about the bottom dollar. And I’m willing to bet that they have some kind of agreement with DTS towing, which by the way did some pretty “shady“ and actually illegal things when they towed the car! Including not allowing my nephew to get his wallet out of the car in order to pay the cost of the towing to get his car back!!! What type of idiots are in this world that work this way!?! Advanced auto, you will never have any more of my business or any business from my friends if I have anything to say about it! You can’t afford to not have foot traffic in your doors when I can go online to Amazon and get car parts cheaper anyway!

  I parked in the Advance Auto Parts lot after the store had already closed and walked to the neighboring Whataburger which has a connected parking lot. Within about five minutes, my vehicle was towed by the company’s contracted towing service. The tow cost me $255. My biggest disappointment is not just with the towing company, but with Advance Auto Parts for choosing to contract with a company that appears to aggressively patrol the lot after hours. When I called the towing company, I was given inaccurate information about when my car had been towed, and I had to repeatedly ask before I was allowed to retrieve my personal belongings, including my wallet. Businesses can choose who they do business with. I choose not to do business with companies that contract with towing services whose practices are sketchy at best.
