    One of the best experiences I’ve had and what should be a quick transaction not only was it quick, but the employees were extremely friendly, and helping with my shipping needs explaining everything as to what was needed, and the best way to ship my package

    My go to UPS Store! I used to have a mailbox, before Covid. Staff are professional, friendly, knowledgeable. My only complaints are, they are set up for keyless entry, it’s a nice area, but that has never been restored. Which brings me to the biggest issue, hours of operation. 9am-6pm. Closed on Sunday. The site should be open earlier and stay open later and allow mailbox owners to access their mail at their convenience.

    I had a very upsetting experience at the UPS Store located at 1732A Marsh Rd in Wilmington, DE, managed by Jayesh Patel. I went in for a routine Amazon return, something I’ve done at this location many times without issue. However, this visit was completely different. An employee refused to assist me and told me I needed to use the self-service option because they were “busy.” I then asked to speak with the manager, Jayesh Patel, expecting the situation to be handled more professionally. Instead, he also insisted that I use self-service, repeating that he and his staff were too busy to help. What made the situation even more disturbing was what happened next. While I was still standing there, a white woman entered the store, and Jayesh immediately asked me to step aside so he could assist her instead. That moment felt extremely disrespectful and, in my opinion, racially motivated. I have been a regular customer at this location for years and have never experienced anything like this before. Being dismissed and then treated differently in comparison to another customer was both hurtful and unacceptable. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this store—especially to Black customers. Customer service should be fair, respectful, and consistent for everyone, and unfortunately, that was not the case here.
