Today my husband and I stopped in this Subway while traveling from NY to VA. We placed an online order while actually standing in the store to take advantage of an app special. The app did not allow us to choose what we wanted on the subs so I went up the counter to let them know as they were making it. The lady told us to sit down and wait, we could not choose. She listed out what was automatically put on the subs but was not what we wanted. She kept saying sit down because she had customers waiting and could not let us choose. A few people had come in behind us but during the time she was saying this she could have easily made our subs with topping we wanted. I demanded my money back and we left without subs.
We then went down the road to Wawa to get gas and decided to get subs there. They were probably better with more on them and at a lower price than Subway.
With the poor customer service and rudeness displayed by Subway employees today, I certainly would never stop at that location again and happy to have found an alternative solution. We have always enjoyed Subway but now I understand why so many Subway locations have closed in the past few years if this is the customer service taught today. That is very disappointing.

I had a really bad experience today I loved going to this subway before but today I was so humiliatingly and rudely insulted they were putting rotten onions on my sandwich and so I simply went and said can you remove those rotten onions and it was an Caucasian old lady and African American boy in the shop and the man laughed and the lady starting yelling at me she told me to get out and even though I already paid for my sandwhich online. she was so rude and racist and made me and my mom almost cry. I hope corporate takes action against them because if you don’t you are going to lose a lot of business. I am very disappointed and angry this was not good what happened to me. Until they both don’t receive any disciplinary action against them I will not give them any of my business. No one should be treated like dogs and that is the feeling I got when I simply went to pick up my sandwich. Both of the employees were rude nasty and poorly maintained it’s seems like they are purposely sabotaging the business so that they can be paid to sit on their phones all day. The lady also coughed on my sandwhich which is also unhygienic.

PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION
AND IF YOU ARE THE OWNER READING THIS STOP THEM BEFORE THEY RUIN YOUR BUSINESS
If the system would allow me I wouldn’t even give them any stars
I am contacting the corporate office and if the owner doesn’t take any action against them corporate will
These 2 people should not even deserve a job because they haven’t been taught manners
This place constantly marks the veggie patty as “unavailable” for online orders, even though it’s clearly in stock at the restaurant. It’s frustrating and feels misleading. If you have the item, make it available don’t force customers to jump through hoops just to order something you already have.

I had a very disappointing experience during my visit last night(3/14/2026). The lady working the night shift clearly did not know how to properly treat customers.
I politely asked her to toast my bread after placing the cheese and chicken on the bread, which is a normal and simple request. However, she added vegetables first and then toasted it, which was not what I asked for. When I pointed this out, instead of correcting the mistake or responding politely, she insisted that she “knows how to do it” and then rudely told me that she could just refund my money and that I should get out of the store if I didn’t like it.
This kind of attitude is completely unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with basic respect. I am not asking for free food or special treatment—I am paying for my meal and simply want it prepared the way I requested.
Customer service is a fundamental part of any food business, and speaking to customers in such a dismissive and disrespectful manner reflects very poorly on the establishment. Staff should be trained not only in food preparation but also in how to communicate professionally and respectfully with customers.
I strongly recommend that management review the behavior of their night shift staff and ensure employees are properly trained in customer service. Experiences like this make customers feel unwelcome and discouraged from returning.
