This is honestly unacceptable.
I dropped off a package at your location on 5/26 at 2:51 PM, and there has been absolutely no update from that location ever since.
I went to the store again this morning (5/27 around 8:00 AM). Your employee took down my information and told me the owner would call me back in the afternoon. My concern is simple: the package stopped updating at YOUR location. As the owner, wouldn’t the normal response be to at least check the CCTV footage or show some basic professionalism and concern?
Instead, the only response I got was:“No. I’m just going to give you a number.”
I politely asked if I could ask one more question, and the response was:“No. You can’t.”Then you hung up on me.
I don’t know what personal frustrations you may have in life, but as a business owner serving the local residents of Middletown, this kind of attitude toward customers is honestly shocking. I never made any unreasonable demands. I was calm and respectful the entire time, yet your response was incredibly rude from beginning to end.
I highly doubt this is the first time customers have been treated this way. You’re simply lucky that many local residents continue spending money there while tolerating poor service.
If you hate your job that much, there are plenty of people who would gladly do it better.
Good luck with your life.

This incident happened at your location, yet with just one sentence — “you didn’t pay or print the label at our store” — you believe you can completely remove yourself from the situation?
What if there was a thief inside your store, or someone walked away with a customer’s package? Would you simply pretend not to notice?
I paid UPS over $100 for Next Day Air service. There is nowhere in UPS policy that says customers are not allowed to drop off packages at your location, or that your store holds zero responsibility once a package is dropped off. If that were the case, then where are customers supposed to turn when they pay tens or even hundreds of dollars in shipping fees and something goes wrong?
And to be clear, I was not asking you to contact customer service for me. I only wanted to ask whether it was possible that the package had not actually been picked up yesterday. But you never even gave me the chance to ask the question. During our one-minute phone call, you kept interrupting me the entire time.
