  My wife and I hit up a local subway from time to time. Today we were out and decided to stop at the shop in north haven. As we pull in, the lights are so dimly lit that I thought they were closed on a Monday evening. We parked walked in and noticed that the chip display was blocking the soda fountain machine. I assumed it was broken. Tables were not wiped clean. Then my wife asked to use the bathroom and she was directed to the nearest gas station where she was told it’s a very clean bathroom and that the subway person recently used it. The sandwiches were being made and the girl didn’t know how to make a cold cut combo. The bread was being ripped to shreds with her knife which means a dull knife or stale bread…probably both. I looked at my wife and we decided it was time to leave. This is a very poor place and subway should pull the franchise. Terrible. Don’t go there. We won’t be back.

  Salad is usually not made right at this location. Today the bowl was half full, they must have run out of lids too bcz it has regular saran wrap on it. OK, but why is the Bowl half way filled and missing some ingredients I asked for? I guess this is an improvement bcz, last time I went in, months ago, I returned home to a bowl with some chicken and bacon - no lettuce in it at all. When I drove back, the employee blamed me for not specifying that I wanted lettuce in my salad... Tonights salad is really not worth my money, the repeated bad salads is a reason to not waste my time with this place

  I would give zero stars if possible they don’t answer the phone even after u order food and they are closed when u arrive e to pick it up I will be returning tomorrow morning to get my money back in cash from the register . I believe this is a scam the door says it 11pm daily however they close at 9 most nights and keep tons of peoples money just check online for yourself wish I did before I wasted my 25 dollars .

  I did an online order for two footlongs that were the exact same. 3 things were wrong on each of the subs. I understand the store running out of things could be possible, but at least mention it or apologize for it not being made correctly. The worker had no care and was just worried about clocking out of his shift and going home. I will not be returning.

  this subway on Washington Avenue in North Haven is by far the worst I've ever purchased from. Ordered veggie on white because we were told the wheat was from yesterday. The white was so stale it could have been used for croutons. Lettuce so minimal I opened the sandwich to confirm there was actually lettuce on it. Tomatoes were soggy. pickles were so old they were tinged white. My husband had similar experience with his BMT. If I'd been there to watch it made, I'd have walked out. Absolutely awful. Also have avoided this particular shop because of issues in the past. Definitely will not be going back.
