Will not return. Went to the Advance in Newington for a torque wrench loaner and was told that they were out, but the one in New Britain had 3. Went there and was told that they don’t rent out torque wrenches. I told them that I’ve rented one from the location in Newington before and how they said the New Britain location had 3 available. Finally was able to get one, but it clearly had been abused and was off by 15 ft-lbs. I was also just given a regular receipt as opposed to a rental receipt, so I’m not certain they will accept the return, which I tried to do at 6pm on a Sunday only to find the store closed already despite the posted closing time of 8pm. Advance ought to close this location down as an embarrassment to the brand.
