  I went there with 92 year old friend. All we wanted just to eat some food in a quiet enviroment. Before given our order I observed a heavy set white woman with tattoos on her arm . She grabbed with no gloves about 7 cooked breads that just came out of the oven. I listen to her speak to her co-worker complaining about how she keeps doing her job and the struggles she has. I think she is a grandma who is in job with no advancement. I get some people are just miserable. Then as her co-worker continued to prepare someone else order . I watched the old white lady (subway worker) drink from a large container. Then as my 92 year friend who was with me were ready to tell them our orders I observed the she did not have a hair net and she proceeded to open the box holding the cooked bread. I noticed she did NOT put on any gloves and proceeded to grab a foot long bread with her bare hands and proceeded to ask me what I wanted to order. I immediately asked why she wasn't wearing any gloves and I told her that she needed to be wearing gloves when handling food. I was immediately yelled by both females workers, this happened with customers in the place. The two females were yelling at both of us Telling us "goodbye" "goodbye" "get out". It's embarrassing that these employees would act like that. People who react that way, act that way because they are embarrassed of their behavior and so they try to deflect that way because they know they are wrong. Who kicks out a 92 year lady from a subway. Touching bread with your bare hands is disgusting and against subway policy. God knows how dirty that woman's hands must be. Gloves are available to all employees free of charge. I read other reviews here about this restaurant and I am not surprised the low reviews that are left. It's not our fault people are stuck in job they hate. My 92 year old friend has never been mistreated that way. This restaurant was lucky I didn't work for the health department, because I would have shutdown that location right at that moment where the old white female grabbed 7 breads with no gloves. I guess people don't know what customer service is

  First off. This is my first time in this location no bread and no toppings ready and the young white lady with GLASSES is so rude! NEVER EVER EVER going back there again!! Fix your staff member

  This location is fine, the staff were nice, and helped you fairly fast. But, I do have to say that the proportions you get now compared to how loaded the grinders used to be when I was a bit younger, are no longer the same. The prices have obviously increased from what they used to be just like most every place nowadays. But, it truly seemed like the amount of toppings you get in the grinders now are definitely not as much as they used to give before. Which is disappointing especially when you're paying more just to get less. Also at this particular location the restaurants bathroom has been out of operation for quite a while. Which isn't a deal breaker but you'd think it would've been fixed by now. So, overall if you're looking to get a grinder somewhat quickly it's an average spot, but there are definitely some way better options in Naugatuck.
