DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY OR APPETITE AT THIS WINGSTOP LOCATION!
First off, everything is expensive right now—but especially wings. We don’t get them often, maybe a couple times a year. So tonight, on a whim, we decided to order from Wingstop. To say I regret it is an understatement. That $46 for two meals could have been spent somewhere else where we would have at least received fresh, properly cooked food and left feeling satisfied. That did not happen tonight.
I don’t know what’s going on with this place, but it seems like it’s gotten worse and worse. Ultimately, it comes down to management. They’re the leaders, and whatever is happening is clearly trickling down to the staff. Poor training is the only explanation—because when you’re charging $46 for 20 wings and customizable sides, you should at the very least meet basic expectations.
If you offer modifications, then follow them. Otherwise, don’t advertise customization at all.
I asked for light Parmesan on my corn. What I got instead was overly seasoned, spicy corn that I couldn’t even eat. I don’t do spicy. It was absolutely covered in salt and some kind of harsh seasoning—it tasted nothing like Parmesan, and it definitely wasn’t “light” on anything. That alone ruined an already overpriced side.
On top of that, half of our wings were raw. Not underdone—raw. That’s not just disappointing, it’s a serious health and safety issue. Nobody wants to spend that kind of money on food they can’t even eat, let alone food that could make them sick. Cooking chicken properly is basic. It’s not complicated. It’s standard food safety, and it was completely missed.
Then the fries—soggy, cold, and just as disappointing. Nobody wants limp D as a fry! So overall, the corn was inedible, the wings were unsafe, the fries were thrown out, and even the drink was flat.
This isn’t just a one-time issue, either. It’s happened multiple times, which is why I’m done. Completely. I won’t be ordering from here again, and neither will my family.
For anyone else considering ordering from Wingstop, I strongly recommend going somewhere else—especially with how expensive it is. But if you do choose to order, go inside. Speak to a manager if you have to. Be very clear about wanting fresh, properly cooked food and correctly prepared sides—because apparently, that’s not a given here.
This feels like bottom-of-the-barrel, overpriced food, and that falls directly on management. Either there is no oversight, or it’s ineffective. The staff clearly isn’t paying attention, and it shows in the quality of the food being sent out.
I ordered online, and the food was ready in under 20 minutes. Based on what we received, it shouldn’t have been.
I ended up throwing away the fries, the wings, and the corn. That’s $46 straight into the trash.
Do not give your money to a business that doesn’t care about the quality or safety of the food they serve. This is not the first time it’s happened—but it will absolutely be the last time for me. oh, and don’t reply with some stupid generic sentence telling me that you care and that I can call you to make it right. How about you make it right on your own? How about you actually give a damn I will be reaching out to the franchise owner and letting them know.
