Shout out to Donna for not listening to me asking to have my backpack and tool bag shipped in a box. Now I have to go through a stupid claim process to get my stuff replaced. Wouldn’t have mind if it was shipped in a box.

FedEx is closer to my house, but UPS is closer to understanding customer service.
I find it hilarious that FedEx started accepting Amazon returns and now the employees seem visibly annoyed that people are showing up with Amazon returns. The store can be nearly empty and you’ll still get shooed to the self serve kiosk with the energy of someone realizing this meeting could’ve been an email.
One employee didn’t want to take my unused boxes and told me to throw them in the dumpster next to the building. Illegal dumping? No thank you. 🙄
UPS somehow handles 10x the volume while being faster, friendlier, and acting like customers aren’t there to ruin their lives.
FedEx may be closer, but the extra drive to UPS is worth it to avoid the awkward feeling that my package ruined someone’s day. 😂

I had a LOT of printing I needed to do - which is one of the features I greatly appreciate at FedEx. The printer I was using was having issues and the Assistant Manager (wish I got her name!) was incredible at helping me get it squared away. I was expecting an attitude or some type of debate, but she was actually very friendly and a representation of what customer service should be like (seems like it's long forgotten at most places these days...and sadly at this location it has been hit or miss...but she truly was a joy to work with and deserves the shoutout!).

I walked in to the FedEx. A gentleman with his hair in a bun named Donna immediately helped me. But he continued to get very discouraged because I am not an employee of FedEx nor do I understand some of the stuff that they do, but I had been given an email and asked him to help me decipher what I was supposed to do. Some of us do not work in that industry and would like a little help. He was very discouraged with my questions he kept rolling his eyes at me. i’m sure that if Donna came to my job, he wouldn’t be able to do it either because everybody’s job is different. I shouldn’t have to apologize to someone for asking help figuring out how to get this code off my phone and give it to him. I don’t appreciate the way I was spoke to Saturday. Some people should not be in customer service. I work with people every day and if somebody’s having trouble with something, I think we should help them. I think that’s part of a job. I think the next time I send something FedEx, which I hope I don’t have to because it was ridiculous. I won’t go to that office again. I don’t work at FedEx, so I guess me asking a simple question was far too hard for this gentleman to take the time to treat me with respect.
