The owner of this UPS store is extremely rude and has a reputation in the area so I would totally avoid going to this location and go to a different one. I've never been treated so rudely at any UPS store, especially like I'm some kind of vagrant or something. Just trying to ship something

On Friday May 29th, at approximately 1pm, I visited the UPS Store to ship a package using Next Day Air Service with Saturday delivery. The employee weighed and measured the package, provided a shipping quote, and processed the transaction.
Before paying, I specifically confirmed with the employee that the package wold be delivered on Saturday May 30th, to which the employee assured me that it would. I then asked whether delivery was guaranteed by a specific time on Saturday, to which she said it was guaranteed by noon. Based on that information, I paid for the shipping, received my receipt, and left.
Later that evening, I checked the tracking information, and was surprised to discover that the package was not scheduled for delivery until Monday. When I reviewed my receipt it also stated a Monday June 1st delivery date.
The problem is not that I misunderstood the service. I specifically asked multiple times whether I was purchasing Saturday delivery and was repeatedly told that I was. Either the employee did not understand the service she was selling or she provided incorrect information. In either case, I paid for a service based on how she represented it, only to find out that her representations were inaccurate.
Yes, I could have reviewed the receipt more carefully before leaving the store, but customers should be able to rely on information provided by employees when purchasing a service. It is unreasonable to expect customers to verify every detail after already having received verbal confirmation multiple times.
The delivery date was the most important factor in my purchase, and to have that information misrepresented is incredibly disappointing and unacceptable. I will not be visiting this UPS store again.

I've been here many times and mostly felt transactional. My latest visit, during a heavy snowstorm, they went above and beyond. Had to expedite a foam core poster and with their help was able to repackage, condense and ended up saving $200! Took some time and that's what I appreciate. Get to know the staff because they seem to care!
