Today, 12/31/2025, we visited the Cricket location on Sheridan and Florida, and the experience was extremely frustrating. There were two girls working the front, and instead of focusing on customers, they were busy flirting with the guys next to us. Because of this, they gave my dad’s phone to the wrong person.
I don’t speak Spanish, but the man who was mistakenly given my dad’s phone did. When I realized what happened, I immediately brought it to the attention of the Cricket employee and told her they gave my dad’s phone to the wrong guy. The response was very casual, with no urgency, concern, or accountability.
As a result, I had to drive back and forth between two locations to retrieve the phone myself. There was no apology, no assistance, and no effort to fix the mistake on their end.
This situation was unprofessional and careless, especially when handling customers’ personal property. At the very least, the staff should have taken responsibility and helped resolve the issue.
