I accidentally placed a mobile order at your Denver, Colorado location because I previously lived there and the app still had that location selected. As soon as I realized my mistake, I immediately called the store to cancel the order so I could place a new order at the correct location.
Unfortunately, when I spoke with the manager, Alexa, I was met with an unprofessional and dismissive attitude. She told me that I would not receive a full refund because it was “not her fault” that I placed the order at the wrong location. She also stated that I would only receive a partial refund and that it would not be processed until later in the week because they were busy and she was “not dropping everything” to handle my request.
While I understand that the initial mistake was mine, I called immediately to cancel the order before I received it. I expected to be treated with courtesy and respect. Instead, I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing the staff, and the way I was spoken to was disappointing and unacceptable.
I would appreciate it if you could review this situation, explain your policy regarding refunds for promptly canceled mobile orders, and determine whether a full refund is appropriate. I also hope this feedback is shared with the store so future customers are treated with professionalism and respect.
