“lost” a multi-thousand dollar little package of custom medical devices after I received the delivery confirmation. associates were totally unresponsive on the phone during business hours and in person, SO snippy and VERY unfamiliar with the official UPS tracking, customer service, and insurance policies when I inquired. do NOT trust them for high-value, international, or EVEN OUT-OF-STATE mail. I called my doctor’s office, insurance, and the medical manufacturer’s in a panic thinking I would be on the hook for paying for the replacement, but NO, all THREE of those professional offices had THIS UPS LOCATION SPECIFICALLY blacklisted for poor past conduct, specifically “losing” MANY past multi-thousand-dollar device packages (custom dental, orthotics + prosthetics, hearing, GI [including life-saving nutrition tubes, valves, and feed], mobility aides, compression devices! mine was dental but the insurance company told me ALL ABOUT the different medical manufacturers they work with having the exact same experience) and refusing to cooperate with insurance or recovery efforts expected of any other UPS location. due to the blacklist history, upon my report, all three of those entities INSTANTLY called it a wash so I went in for (free, thank god!) re-scanning and a multi-month wait (major treatment delay) to have the one-of-a-kind, extremely expensive devices remade and shipped to a NON-BLACKLISTED ups address. + the gps location on maps is the complete wrong side of the building. how low can you sink?!?!
edit: Lauren, we’ve talked before. extensively. either whip your location into shape, pick up the phones, start cooperating and following policy, OR RESIGN. do NOT respond to my review pretending to be concerned. this is a multi-year pattern and your location is at fault for hundreds of thousands worth of custom medical devices and other critical packages and paperwork lost in your midst at this point.
