  Melanie runs a great shop. Along with Anthony and Scott, they are always willing to take the time to assist with your project. Their vast knowledge and helpful attitude has bailed me out of a repair jam many a time. Highly recommended!

  Huge Shoutout to the worker named Christian for helping find wiper blades and a battery and helped me install both of them and and it didn’t even take a long time it was so fast I’m so thankful for the hardworkers that advance auto parts have 🙌

  Attempted to return an unused part that I bought at a different location. Melanie (GM) was present and claimed they couldn't take the return, even though I had a valid receipt. Directed me to drive to another store on 33rd. They told me they could not take it either. After I called the store where I initially purchased the item, and speaking to their GM I was told the store on 30th COULD in fact facilitate the return, and that he could speak to them if they didn't know how. I came back to this store, where lo and behold, the same manager (Melanie) now admitted that she could process the return and knew how to do so. Very inconvenient and inconsiderate; got the sense they didnt want to accept the return because it was inconvenient for them. Zero consideration for the customer, overall frustrating experience. Note: if you're buying at AAP expecting the convenience of a chain, you won't get it. The stores aren't all related and the customer service is sorely lacking. We were on a road trip and made the assumption that we would have flexibility to return to another store. Support a Mom and Pop instead bc the convenience factor will be the same, but service will be better.

  Incredible customer service and kind staff!!! I came in at the last minute before they closed and they were so patient and willing to help me. They didn’t have to be so helpful especially because they were about to close but they were!!! Amazing humans 10/10 would recommend coming here.
