  This hotel has a warm, inviting feel from the moment you pull up. The natural stone and wood exterior gives it a mountain‑lodge vibe that fits perfectly with Truckee and Tahoe. My room was spacious—possibly because it was a wheelchair‑accessible layout—and included a fridge, microwave, and a proper desk. I didn’t use the kitchen amenities, but the desk setup was great for getting a bit of work done. The property features a large outdoor pool and hot tub, which is a nice bonus in this area. Breakfast is served cafeteria‑style in the dedicated breakfast room and was perfectly decent for a hotel in this category. Location is one of the biggest strengths: just a few minutes from downtown Truckee, and a short drive to Lake Tahoe and several ski resorts. Very convenient if you’re exploring the region. Overall, a comfortable and well‑located place to stay with a friendly, mountain‑lodge atmosphere.

  We had a wonderful stay at Best Western Plus Truckee Tahoe Hotel. The service was excellent from start to finish. Emily at the front desk was especially kind and helpful. She made check-in very welcoming and even gave us great recommendations for places to take our 5-year-old tubing, which made our trip even more fun. The breakfast was fantastic with many healthy and tasty options, and everything was fresh and well organized. The staff kept everything stocked and the service was great. Overall, a very pleasant stay. We would happily stay here again when visiting Truckee. 😊

  This place is wonderful. Clean friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is the best I've ever had in the USA. One can control the temperature in the room. I definitely recommend this best Western. And you get your own microwave and refrigerator in your room. Which a lot of motels and hotels don't offer.
