Beautiful gardens! Sunflowers, wildflowers and more seasonal beauties that just added to the hotels appearance.

Wonderful atmosphere the flowers in the front look amazing the smoking area by the fire pit in the front is inviting and cozy. The pool and the hot tub are immaculate and the hot tub is huge.
The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable I really like the pillows I forgot my special pillow and I thought my neck was going to hurt but those pillows were actually really comfortable. They have pet-friendly rooms so my dog was able to stay with me and the breakfast service was awesome
Very nice Best Western.
Reason for 3 star is while working Nights for Firefighting we were unable to get a late checkout next day. Front desks was unwilling to accommodate a few hours so we could rest appropriately.
Perhaps exceptions could help under the circumstances.
All else was great about the stay! If your a normal human(unlike night workers), great Stay!

For the past seven years, this has been one of our favorite hotels whenever we traveled to Reno. We usually visit Reno three or four times a year, and we always preferred this hotel because of the excellent staff and the breakfast. In fact, many times, even when the weather was bad, we would still drive to this hotel instead of staying somewhere else in Reno.
On Saturday, July 25, my beautiful wife and I tried to reserve a room for just one night, only until check-out the next morning. This was something we had done many times before since we only needed about six hours of rest before continuing our trip.
Unfortunately, the front desk agent quoted us an astonishing rate of $710.45 for one night. She later offered what she called a 50% discount, bringing the price down to $356.44, which was still far beyond our budget. She explained that the hotel was very busy at the time.
For the first time in seven years, my wife and I had to stay at a different hotel because the price was simply too high. It was disappointing because this had always been our first choice, and we had been loyal guests for many years. We hope the hotel will consider offering more reasonable rates for returning customers in the future.
First floor room facing parking lot and main road has zero privacy, the curtains are paper thin. I was able to wrap them into a bow shape and that sufficed. Please address.
Breakfast was excellent, staff were competent and friendly.
Booked one night on short notice so paid apprx $250 and I'm not happy about that but it's not the hotel ... it's Truckee ... the town is over-hyped and way over-priced. I blame the Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Merchants Association.
AirBnB and the pandemic have seriously damaged this community, distorting cost of living and price signals. Typical tourist is wealthy, and way too arrogant and sulky. Just stay in the Bay, ok? Go somewhere else, Truckee doesn't like you.
