I had a disappointing experience at Subway recently due to extremely poor customer service.
The employee making the sandwiches had a noticeably negative attitude from the start. I was trying to customize my order, which is something I usually have no problem doing in person, but she made the process unnecessarily frustrating. None of the sauces were displayed, and when I asked about them, she simply pointed to a small, hard-to-read sign instead of helping.
Another customer before me asked for soup, and she responded in a rude and unprofessional way, saying they did not serve that there. The tone alone was enough to make the interaction uncomfortable.
When I asked for a plate to dine in, I was told they did not have any available. This was surprising, especially since the restaurant was not busy and dine-in supplies are typically standard.
To make matters worse, when our order was ready, she did not call it out or notify us in any way. She simply stared without saying anything, leaving us unsure if the food was ready.
Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, the employee did not have a name tag, but the receipt lists the server as #999997. I hope management addresses this, as this level of service does not reflect well on the business.
