Absolutely, the worst encounter I've had in a retail establishment ever.
The owner was rude to say the least.
Unfortunately for UPS, his behavior reflects on the company as a whole, and I will direct all my future shipping needs elsewhere whenever possible.

I visited the UPS Store in Tiburon on Friday (3/20 afternoon) to get a document copy notarized, and my experience was very disappointing. The staff member I interacted with was rude and unhelpful throughout the process.
When I asked for guidance on where to sign, instead of providing the standard copy certification form, he questioned me in a dismissive way and did not offer any help. When I politely asked him to be more helpful, he responded that it was “not his job to be nice,” which was surprising and unacceptable for a customer-facing role.
I ended up going to the UPS Store on Blithedale ave, where the document was notarized in under a minute. It was clear that the employee in Tiburon simply didn’t know what to do, and on top of that, was unnecessarily rude.
I’ve had better experiences with other employees at this location, so this seems specific to this individual. However, the owner should be aware of this behavior, as it reflects poorly on the business.
I shipped a cell phone from this store. The store employee asked what type of phone was is the package. He stated we don't ship certain models due to battery explosions. I told him the model. I called other UPS stores and they do not have a ban on shipping certain phones. When the phone arrived to the recipient the package was empty. The $1400.00 phone was stolen. Then nothing but stonewalling and misinformation from the store manager and the owner. I filed a police report. Also filed a claim with ecoATM. Do not ship anything valuable from this store.
Always a pleasure coming here. Staff is friendly and helpful every time. Amazing!
Sincere caring folks. Very professional. Super efficient. And consistent lasting employees that feel like family.
