I had a very disappointing experience at this UPS Store location. When I walked in, I was not greeted by any of the three female employees. One was helping a customer, while the other two were standing behind the counter. I waited about 10 minutes just to ask a simple question about whether their Live Scan machine was working.
At one point, an employee came up to the counter near me to grab something, so I asked her directly. She briefly said “yes” and walked away without offering any further assistance. Shortly after, a man walked in and was immediately greeted and offered help, which made the situation feel uncomfortable and, honestly, discriminatory.
When I returned to complete the Live Scan, Katelyn assisted me, but the interaction felt very cold and unfriendly. She did not smile or engage beyond stating the cost. I was then instructed to complete the fingerprinting process on my own using the on-screen directions. I struggled with repeated errors on multiple fingers, and at no point did she offer to help.
I eventually asked for assistance and also asked if this was the normal process, since it’s difficult to roll fingerprints correctly by yourself. Katelyn responded that she only helps if asked. The the lack of basic guidance or support made the experience frustrating.
Overall, the environment felt unwelcoming and uncomfortable. I left without confidence that my fingerprints were captured properly, as they were all rated low quality. I would not recommend this location for Live Scan services. Terrible customer service!
