I don’t normally write bad reviews, cause it’s not normally worth my time. But I made an online order and paid full price for everything. (No deals used). The online ordering system does not give the option to add additional meat if it’s a different type of meat. I got a pepperoni, salami, and ham sandwich, but what I wanted was a pepperoni, salami, and turkey. I placed the order and immediately went inside for the meat substitution. The cashier/sandwich artist wouldn’t let me make the substitution because she said I already paid. She stated that the turkey cost more, and I verified with the menu that a foot-long turkey sandwich did cost $.90 more than a foot-long ham sandwich. I offered to pay the difference, which she declined this as well. She then told me that I should have purchased double meat while ordering online (something I couldn’t go back and do) but when I reminded her that she just told me she wouldn’t make substitutions, she verified she wouldn’t have changed it anyway. She wouldn’t allow any option in store to put turkey on a sandwich even if it was paid for. We ordered blue Gatorade‘s, which weren’t available in the fridge, chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies, which again weren’t available-the only available cookies looked like they were left over from yesterday (we went at 1030 am, the store opened at 9) , she declined to make more cookies, and my daughter had to choose cookies that she didn’t like. She did say my daughter could get chips , but wait? Now she’s allowing substitutions? To me it seemed like it wasn’t about the company losing money – as I offered to pay for the turkey. But it was more about control of her saying no to putting turkey on a sandwich. It was a complete lack of customer service and overall a bad experience.
