    Always love coming to this location!! Today the employee, Maria was super sweet. Had the best customer service even in this heat and with the rush she was having. She handled it like a champ. You can clearly tell she is a hard worker and cares! Please give her a raise!!!

    Review Title: $57 for Two Soggy, Salty Sandwiches? Never Again. I am extremely disappointed with my recent order from this Subway location. I ordered via Instacart and ended up paying nearly $50 for just two footlong sandwiches—an absolute ripoff even by Santa Barbara standards. The pricing at this specific Cliff Drive location is significantly higher than the national average. A basic Roast Beef footlong was $20, and the 5 Meat Italian was $21. Even with the typical delivery markups, these base prices are egregious for what you actually receive. This does not include Instacart delivery fees plus tipping driver As for the food quality: Over-salted: Both sandwiches were so "loaded with salt" they were barely edible. It completely overpowered the taste of the meat and veggies. Soggy & Messy: The presentation was a disaster. The bread was completely soggy by the time it arrived, and the sandwiches looked like they were thrown together with zero care. It was a sloppy, unappetizing mess. I expected a lot more for a $50 lunch. There are plenty of better local delis in the Mesa area that offer higher quality for these "premium" prices. I’ll be skipping this restaurant next time and recommend others do the same. When I’ve dined in, things are okay. But this delivery is horrible.
