**Would not stay here again: The room was clean, but apparrently you aren't suppossed to expect them to ever come clean your room the 5 days you are there. I asked on the 4th day before 10am, upon returning that day the door to our room was ajar, it was open All Day!!! Reported it to management and they said OH it happens all of the time. There was a notice housekeeping left and underlined saying i should have asked before 10am, which I did. They have alot of construction workers staying there, I dont really think they care about individuals. We will not be returning. Beds are very uncomfortable as well. And the pillows.

What makes this hotel top-notch is the staff. Each staff member I have come across really seems to care about the guest experience. It’s something that I haven’t experienced in so long in a business. My only issue is that we have to wear shoes in the hotel or our feet are black. I hope they decide to replace the carpet with hard floor. We will be back because of the service services offered by each staff member

This place was really awesome. The breakfast was awesome, they did something different every day. They had a movie night.
Anthony was the coolest front desk guy ever. Super welcoming and friendly. He remembered our names (which is super cool talent! I can’t even remember my wife’s name sometimes)
Overall he made the experience. Will definitely be coming back again.

Convenient location, but outdated and overpriced.Ratings looked great, and it is close to shopping, but the entire property is incredibly dated. The lobby, hallways, and rooms feel stuck in the past, dingy, and smell stale. I am not picky, but this is basically a step up from a Motel 6. It should be priced like an $80 room. The only redeeming quality is the person at the desk was friendly. Don’t be fooled by pictures. Smell is gross and very dingy.
My son will be attending Cal Poly starting in the fall, so I needed a reasonable place to stay for his orientation days. I chose the BW based on location and price.
PROS: 5 minutes down the freeway from Cal Poly, not right ON the freeway which is good if you hate freeway noise like I do (but airplanes fly over from the local SLO airport), super clean, super friendly check in, cute extras like the cookies in the lobby. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. They get the Dodgers (ch 29)! That’s a huge plus for me if there’s a game on. There’s a nice complimentary breakfast. Overall, just a small, no frills, super nice place to stay.
CONS: room needs a channel guide - that’s really it…
Looking forward to returning next month for my son’s move-in day. Go Mustangs!
