I came to ask about the dimensional weight which costed me a lot before for a better understanding. The man who I first encountered kept cutting me off: there were only dimensions and weight, nothing called dimensional weight bla bla bla; he obviously didn’t know about it. He liked talking to the extent keeping pushing around the bush: I used Fedex express package, or I was with the 3rd party bla bla bla, which was obviously irrelevant to my questions about the dimensional weight. His attitude was using the most of his mouth, and his ears were for decoration I guess. I couldn’t even finish my sentence. So I turned to another worker there, showing her the dimensional weight right on the Fedex website. She immediately acknowledged that she never knew about it, which was fine to me. It’s ok that you don’t know about a thing, admit it, and you’re willing to know about it. Later, when I were on my stuff at the self-service kiosk, I heard that man’s voice again, talking to his coworker that I just talked to: there’s no dimensional weight!!! And she told him: yes, there is, I saw it right on the Fedex website (which I showed her on my phone before). And in a ridiculously stubborn and stupid way, the man replied: that’s on another app or website, not Fedex?!! They stopped the topic there. I normally don’t waste my time on such garbage on my way, but I couldn’t help myself this time. I came back the counter to show him the Fedex website with dimensional weight right on there. The music didn’t stop there: the man at first denied the Fedex website, then I had to put my finger into the word fedex.com on my phone directly to his eyes. He had no way to deny at this point, but as his eyes were as tiny as his ears, or malfunctioning: he didn’t bother reading any terms related to dimensional weight but the word fedex.com following my finger pointing. He used the best functioning body part of his, the mouth, he ran his imagination and popped out via his mouth: it applied to the third parties only! So Fedex, you go reply to your employee if it is for third party only or not, because I myself can’t find that term right on your website, and I’m unable to help your employee’s wild imagination with nonstop talking and consistent denying attitude. I can understand that Fedex don’t think they need to train that front staff level about that dimensional weight. It’s ok that any staff just tell a simple thing that they don’t know, they can’t answer about it, I better call Fedex number. But hiring employees with such stupid attitude, especially at the front who should provide the best customer experience is the worst.
