It was so convenient and easy to leave out bags here during a short layover between the Amtrak South from LA and our flight out of San Diego a few hours later. We were able to get a delicious Mexican meal in the Gas Lamp district nearby. Staff were super helpful and it was only a block’s walk back to get our bus to the airport. Highly recommended.

I used this Bounce luggage location for my recent trip. If you are exploring downtown for the day and you are coming from the airport, then this is the cloest Bounce location from both the bus and train lines. The airport bus literally drops you off very close to this bounce location and then you can walk a few streets up to the water for a cruise tour or places to eat, or to the train station. I had a great experience dropping off and picking up my luggage. I would recommend - 5 stars!

I had to come here for on a Walk-Basis for ID.ME biometrics verification.
I had to go out of my way, pay for parking, walk in, waited in line only to find out the kiosk was unmanned for ID.ME and that the only employee that could verify me on the biometrics kiosk was not even at work today.
What an epic waste of time. I wasn’t allowed or able to make an appointment on the website. Maybe they should allow that so I don’t waste my time and money trying to use their systems.
Called a week later, the phone was answered and left off the hook by the employee who decided he didn’t want to talk to me. For 10 mins I could hear the e store chime as ai was ignored for no particularly good reason. What a joke.
I had a great experience at this UPS Store while sending a birthday parcel to my aunt. The staff took real care with the packaging, and it was clear they knew what they were doing. It was Comic-Con week, so the store was packed, but the team handled the rush impressively well — I was in and out quickly without feeling rushed or overlooked. Great customer service all around. Highly recommend this location!

I am writing this review as a warning to anyone attending San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) who hopes to ship valuable collectibles using this UPS Store.
We trusted the UPS Store employees to pack our collectibles, and at their suggestion, paid for additional insurance, and still ended up with damaged items and a denied claim because UPS Capital said the package had been “improperly packed.”
During SDCC 2025, my family and I attended for the first time and purchased numerous collectibles. These weee not easy tickets to get!! Since we were flying back to Illinois, we chose this UPS Store to ship them home. When we expressed concern about protecting the items, the employee packing our shipment assured us, “This is our job and know what we’re doing.” Based on that assurance, we let them pack the box and purchased additional insurance.
When our shipment arrived, the box was badly damaged. Many of the collectible boxes inside were crushed, dented, torn, or otherwise damaged, significantly reducing their value.
When we called UPS we learned there was an issue with the tracking number, the store manager had to submit the claim on our behalf. Seven months later, (yes, 7 months!) UPS Capital denied the claim, stating the package had been improperly packed. That was exactly our concern—the package had been packed by a UPS Store employee. Because our receipt did not specifically state that UPS had packed the shipment, they said there was no proof. We appealed through UPS Customer Relations and were denied again.
I’m sharing this experience so other collectors can make an informed decision. If you use this UPS Store, consider packing your own collectibles and documenting everything, or make sure your receipt clearly states that the UPS Store packed your shipment. Otherwise, paying extra for insurance may not provide the protection you expect.
SDCC is a major financial investment for many collectors and fans. We trusted the UPS Store to pack our collectibles, paid for additional insurance, and were left with damaged items and a denied claim. I hope sharing our experience helps other collectors avoid the same situation.
