I hate writing this, more so because this was a frustrating experience and I don't want to leave terrible reviews. I went into this subway last night an hour before closing, worker saw me, wasn't greeted. I waiting by the counter no one else in the store, you could hear crickets in this place of how empty it was. Guy starts putting his gloves on and still doesn't say anything to me. Pulls this long receipt out and finally speaks, "I'll be with you in a moment mam". Okay cool, only took 4 minutes to say something to me but fine no worries, I'll wait. So little did I know that this worker was going to fulfill an online order of two footlong sandwiches for a customer that was not even in the store yet when all I wanted was one 6-inch that would've taken 6 minute to make and get me out the door. Worst part about this is that I'm pregnant and have had the worst nausea, if you know you know, when something sounds good, it's the only thing that will go down, I was craving a specific subway sandwich and this was the only thing that was going to make me feel the least bit better. Meanwhile this guy is taking his time created these footlong sandwiches while I'm anticipating my one 6-inch sandwich that I was craving. I had been chewing on ginger mints all day just to keep me from wanting to vomit and finally had an appetite for something, it was soooo disappointing. I work in customer service so it just shocked me that he didn't want to attend to his only customer in the store at such a late hour when it was dead to make one simple 6-inch sandwich. The online order can wait 6 minutes but instead he had the physical customer wait and watch him make two sandwiches for 12 minutes. I was so frustrated I wanted to cry so I told him, "don't worry about it, have a good night" and instead of trying to make it right he said "you have a good night mam". Kills me that he thinks just because he's speaking in professional terminology that he wasn't giving terrible customer service. I went home and cried to my husband because that was the only thing I wanted to eat the whole day and didn't get because the experience made me feel so uncomfortable. I also feel embarrassed that I got so emotional over a sandwich but pregnancy hormones are no joke. Needless to say, I'm never going back.

I ordered a turkey sandwich online with no changes, just the way it comes through app and they forced me to take literally just bread and turkey since their system didn’t list anything.no refund just more hate and unprofessional rudeness.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. This Subway (3146, Suite 6, San Diego) claims it’s open until 10:00 PM. I walked in at exactly 9:00 PM with my kids after a long drive from San Francisco, only to find staff already shutting down the dining area—chairs up, tables flipped—while still claiming they were “open.” When I asked to order and sit down, I was told dine-in was closed. There was ZERO signage anywhere stating that dining closes early. Only after I pushed back did they “allow” us to sit, like they were doing us a favor. We paid about $33 for food, and right after finishing, my kids needed to use the restroom. The employee flat-out refused and said it’s because “homeless people come in.” That’s not just unacceptable—it’s insulting. We were paying customers with children. So let me get this straight: • You’re “open,” but not really open • You take customers’ money, but deny basic access like restrooms • You make up rules on the spot with no signage or communication That’s not how any business should operate. If your dining area and restrooms are closed before 10 PM, then UPDATE YOUR HOURS or POST CLEAR SIGNS. Don’t mislead customers and then treat them like an inconvenience. This location seriously needs management intervention. I will not be coming back, and I strongly advise others—especially families—to avoid this place.
