  Julie did a great job and provided excellent customer service while making my sandwiches. Today was honestly one of the best subway experiences I’ve had.

  Disgusting and unsanitary. I came in yesterday around 7 p.m. and saw an employee who was visibly very sick making sandwiches. She was coughing, sneezing, had a runny nose, and was not wearing a mask. I also watched her blow her nose while still wearing her gloves. I understand that employees are human and can get sick, but she should never have been assigned to prepare customers’ food in that condition. What concerns me even more is that the other three employees—including the person who appeared to be the manager on duty—allowed her to continue making sandwiches. She should have been sent home or, at the very least, assigned a task that did not involve handling food. The store was not even busy, so there was absolutely no reason for her to be making sandwiches. The entire location seemed disorganized, and the sink in the back was running excessively. This Subway is regularly dysfunctional whenever the two other employees are not working. On another visit, the employees on duty could not even provide avocados that were not turning black and rotting. Management needs to take food safety and sanitation much more seriously. After witnessing this, I honestly do not know if I will return—and if I do, I would have to be starving.
