    Out of all the locations in my area, this one consistently has the worst customer service. Time after time I leave realizing I would rather drive out to Elk Grove than deal with the service here. Yesterday I went in with two self-packed returns and one Amazon return that required no box and no label. I waited in line and when I reached the counter, the employee greeted me with no hello or acknowledgment and immediately asked, “Are these self-packed or no box/no label?” I explained that two were self-packed and one was not. She told me she could process the two self-packed returns, but I would have to go to the kiosk for the other one. I asked if she could just process it since I had already waited in line. She simply said no. I was frustrated and said this was ridiculous—I don’t work here and shouldn’t be forced to use the kiosk after already waiting in line. Instead of trying to de-escalate the situation or offering any form of customer service, she just kept repeating that it was “policy” and told me I didn’t have to react that way. It felt like the goal was to prove a point rather than help a customer. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened. When the kiosk was first introduced, I once waited in a line that was out the door for nearly 25 minutes. When I finally got to the counter, the employee told me I had to use the kiosk—which at that point also had a line. I explained that I should have been told before standing in line for so long, but again the focus was on enforcing “policy” rather than helping a customer who had already waited. I continue to give this location chances because it is convenient and close to home. My family has lived in this area for over 30 years, and unfortunately the service here has only gotten worse. They claim it is “policy” to use the kiosk, but that is not accurate. I have even attached a photo showing that it is not required. I have gone to other locations where employees gladly process the return at the counter if you have already waited in line. At this point, I will not be returning to this location. I would rather drive further to another store than deal with the rude and unhelpful staff here.
