Zero stars is what I would give this location if I could.
Today I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I work with adults with disabilities, and today they wanted Subway for lunch. I asked the employee if we could order the daily footlong special and have it cut in half, with one half toasted and the other not. She immediately said no because that would be considered two sandwiches.
To avoid any issues, I told her to just toast the entire sandwich. She responded with an obvious look of annoyance, then walked away and started helping another customer, completely disregarding us.
Another employee took over, but he wasn’t much friendlier. I asked if we could have different toppings on each half of the sandwich since it was for two different clients, and he also acted irritated by the request.
When it was time to pay, we had a temporary issue with Apple Pay and were trying to find another way to complete the purchase. Instead of showing patience or understanding, both employees stared at us as though we were asking for a handout. At the same time, I was trying to assist the adults in my care, making an already stressful situation even more difficult.
After we finally resolved the payment issue and were walking out, both employees laughed, pointed at us, and made us feel humiliated.
There is no excuse for treating any customer this way, especially someone caring for individuals with disabilities. A little kindness and patience would have gone a long way. This experience was embarrassing, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable.
We will never return to this location, and I will be informing my company about how we were treated so they can avoid bringing clients here in the future.
