On May 23, at 8:40, I visited Subway and requested the footlong buy one, get one half off promotion. Before ordering, I confirmed with the employee if I could split the second footlong so my husband and I could prepare our halves differently, and he said yes. After placing my order, I noticed I was charged for one footlong and two 6-inch sandwiches. When I inquired about the charge, he stated it was because I prepped the 2foot long differently. I reminded him that I had asked beforehand if this was allowed with this promotion, to which he stated “Yes” which is why I ordered it the way I did. If there was a limitation, he should have communicated that instead of confirming my request. I asked to speak to a manager, but he said there wasn't one available, he refused to give me his manager name. When I requested the corporate number, he refused to provide it, and he also denied my request for a refund. This experience left me feeling misled regarding the promotion as well as robbed because he wouldn’t return my refund. I also requested for his name which he said was Juan and I hope he didn’t lie because I’m sure management and cooperate can find out by tracking who was on the register with the receipt
