  Just stopped for a full tank of gas and some food. I've been packing all day, loading our trailer and did not eat all day. My family ate fast food in Mojave but I'm on a restricted diet and waited until we got to Subway for healthy choices. I walked in and the young man behind the subway desk says we are closed. He said at 9:0o- 20 minutes ago. I walked outside realizing I'm not eating today. I sit in the car as we gas up and I see another customer walk right in and this worker is making a sandwich and selling him a drink. I walk back in and ask Are you open now? He said no this is a special, regular customer so I made him one. Well now that's a perfect example of horrible customer service- to me! I walk outside and tell my boyfriend. My boyfriend walked in and asked what's up. Closed or open? He said the owner tells him to take care of the local customers regardless if they are closed. We state that just doesn't look right to others. He flips out and picks up his phone and waves it in the air stating he has the right to serve who he wants and not serve others. He states he will call the police! Boyfriend says fine I'll wait right here. Boyfriend asked lady at check out counter what the story is with this kid. She says he's been there two weeks and thinks his name is Jerry. Well Jerry tell said boss I will never come to give you business again. We stop here Every time on our way to mammoth. I will now go 16 more miles to the next gas station. Customer service classes should be given To this employee to not snap when a person merely asks a question. We were not mean just confused which prompted our questions.
