I started coming back here often, and I would give this a full 5 stars, but I must say, theres a minor issue. Ive noticed the last 3 or so times Ive come in over the last week, folks seem to be getting trained, thats awesome! Honestly, I have patience and understanding for that. Today, however, bothered me a bit. The employee in training was helping me and doing wonderfully, I typically being one to not list every individual ingredient just name a sandwich and then name addons, its easier that way to say "BLT + duh duh duh" rather then "lemme get a, b, c , d ,e ,f ,g h,...etc" Especially with multiple sandwiches, as someone who can get stressed easy I dont wanna put that load on other people of trying to remember or keep re asking me. While I told the employee what I liked, whoever was above her, another lady, was telling her she "cant add this, cant do that, cant x,y,z". To my understanding, whatever I have added I pay for. Regardless of what Im getting, its my choice to put it on MY sandwich. This poor employee seemed torn between me and her higher up that was dictating, RATHER THAN communicating to ME, and telling me, "hey adding X makes it cost more" (Which I already know by the way). But rather, I didnt get everything on my sandwich due to her dictatorship deciding for me what I could and couldnt have. Just charge me extra like you always do when I add more??????????? I digress, the employee in training was phenomenal, very kind, great customer service skills. Cant say the same for the lady above her. I felt bad and had to keep reassuring her that so far what I have, I WILL PAY FOR. It was just easier to leave it at what it was then continue adding to my sandwich, leaving me a bit unsatisfied if I could be so honest. Im glad theyre worried about training their newer employees but denying what can and cant go on a CUSTOM sandwich in a CUSTOM SANDWICH shop is absolutely wild. I will for sure come back here again, I just hope grumpy guss isnt there to stop me from enjoying the meal I want, my way.
