Perfect spot if you have limited time, a large group, and want to guarantee total chaos.
We were on a business trip to Palm Springs with two vans and only a 30-minute lunch window. To save time, I organized multiple group orders through DoorDash pickup (since the store caps orders at $150, I had to place four separate ones—already a great start).
I assumed—reasonably—that each sandwich would be labeled with a name. Instead, everything was marked with random numbers. No names, no clear system, just bags of mystery sandwiches.
When we arrived (and the store was empty, by the way), we tried to sort things out ourselves using the receipts. It quickly turned into a mess, so I asked the employee for help. Her response? Basically that we “created the mess” by taking receipts out of the bags and that it was “on us.”
Great customer service—especially on a $400+ order.
After about 20 minutes of confusion, we finally figured things out, but by then the whole point of ordering ahead was completely defeated. No one had time to actually enjoy their food, and the entire group left frustrated.
If you’re ordering for more than one person, especially for a group—be careful. Or better yet, go somewhere else.
Our company definitely will.
