Ordered 2 sandwiches on the app. One was a free sandwich after buying 3. When I picked it up she told me that she can't give me a free sandwich, that it expired in CA already. I explained it shows expired in 2027.she sand No, not in CA. I asked for my money back and she told me to call corporate. DON'T BUY FROM THIS SUBWAY ANYMORE.

Your staff is so nice and they’ll do anything to make your sandwich perfect ! I get the chicken teriyaki with onion sauce. It’s fabulous. They put everything you want on it at no extra charge. It’s absolutely delicious. I order every week. It’s such a pleasure going there cause everybody’s so nice. You can tell they enjoy their job.

The employee (as appearing on the receipt :SERVED BY 605 at 08:05 pm on 02-17-26 at 108 W Katella Ave in Orange) who prepared my sandwich displayed behavior that was unprofessional, discourteous, and entirely inconsistent with basic customer service standards. She was dismissive, rude, and demonstrated a clear lack of workplace ethics. When I inquired about why a discount had not been applied to my purchase especially after observing that she had applied a discount for another customer she responded to in a mocking manner and laughed at me. I found this behavior not only disrespectful but also humiliating.
What was particularly troubling is that the other customer who received the discount appeared to be of the same racial background as the employee. This raised serious concerns for me about possible racial discrimination. When I questioned the inconsistency, instead of providing a professional explanation, she told me to “go call the manager.” as she was laughing at me together with the other customer.
Such conduct is unacceptable in any customer-facing role. I believe all customers deserve to be treated with fairness, dignity, and respect, regardless of race or background. I hope this matter will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
