  We had a really great stay at Best Western San Marcos Inn. The room was very clean and comfortable; the staff was friendly, and the location was excellent. We also really enjoyed the view and would definitely consider staying here again. The only downside was the "24-hour self-service car wash" directly across from the hotel. The noise from the car wash and cars was quite loud, especially at night, and significantly disturbed our sleep. Of course, this is outside the hotel’s control, but it’s something future guests may want to know about. Other than that, everything about the hotel was great!

  Arrived at hotel about 20 minutes early. Room wasn't ready. But if I paid 30 dollars extra my room would be ready. That's fishy. Bathroom is very small. Bathroom door wouldn't close. Fan is in corner of room. If you want room service you have to let them know by 10.o'clock. The location was good, but that's all. Checking this hotel off my list to stay.

  Beautiful view of the rock. Walking distance from main street shops and restaurants. The beds are comfortable. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you stay in room 215 and a seagull with a hole in his right foot lands on your balcony, his name is Frank.....please tell him I miss him.
