I'm afraid I have to complain about something that happened today at the Subway shop at 1941 Pacific Coast Highway, in Lomita.
They have a promo at their window offering 4 different 6-inch sandwiches for $4.99 or $7.99 for the footlong versions.
I asked for a footlong BLT ( included in the ad), but the worker told me they weren't selling footlongs anymore with that promotion.
When I told her the promotion was still on the window, then she told me that wasn't the sandwich of the day, which is a completely different promotion. When I clarified this to her, she then had to acknowledge their mistake of not "covering the ad at their window", which makes me think that she was very aware of it and was trying to confuse me in order for me to stop with my concern.
Since businesses usually honor their promotions even if they have made a mistake, I insisted, but the other worker whose name is Araceli (probably a supervisor or manager), told the worker who was serving me to attend the next customer.
I was left waiting for someone to speak to me regarding this, but Araceli seemed to ignore me even when she finished serving her own customer. The other worker was already attending someone else.
Araceli just kept ignoring me while I was waiting, looking at her, and while my sandwich was laying at the counter.
I think this was overly rude --it's a grotesque way to treat a customer with a legitimate concern.
I ended up leaving the place, not without asking Araceli's name.
This is the first time I have had such a bad experience in a Subway restaurant, and I wouldn't like to have one again. I hope this helps.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Subway location due to extremely poor customer service. The employee, Horte, was openly rude and dismissive throughout the interaction.
I politely asked if I could switch my daughter’s juice box for a soda because she has a food allergy and can only have almond milk. Instead of showing any understanding, I was told that the change couldn’t be made and that my daughter’s allergy was “not her problem.” While I understand policies may exist, the way this was communicated was unprofessional and lacked basic empathy.
Customer service is about how you treat people, especially in situations involving health concerns. Dismissing a parent’s request in this manner is both rude and unacceptable. If this is the standard of service at this location, it reflects very poorly on the business.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve how customers are treated.
I just came in earlier this month and utilized my coupons for the meatball subs on multiple visits and today they state that I can't use coupon any longer for meatball subs...so sad that this place has become so disappointing after I have been coming here 15 years. 😔 I had to go 4.5 miles to another Subway I go to because being a diabetic when I want certain things to eat my mind and stomach is set for that and lo and behold I was able to use my coupon for the meatball combo like I want it see the receipt if the meatball sub was not one of the subs applicable for this coupon it would not have allowed the cashier to utilize the coupon for the meatball sub meal. Again after 15 years of being a customer at this particular Subways I am very disappointed since I had to drive past my home to another one to get my lunch.
Bad customer service by some new employee name Adela Annabelle something like that shes so rude I've never had a problem and that store the other morning crew is always nice and friendly
