  Very disappointing experience with the UPS Next Day delivery service in the Lathrop, CA area. We pay nearly 4 times the regular shipping cost specifically to have important business products delivered the next morning. Unfortunately, this has happened multiple times: the driver apparently does not properly check the delivery address or unit number and simply marks the shipment as “Customer Not Available.” This is extremely frustrating. We are a business and are available during normal business hours. When customers pay a premium for Next Day service, they should receive premium and responsible service—not an incorrect delivery attempt status. FedEx and DHL deliver to us as well, and if their drivers ever have trouble locating the correct address or unit, they normally call us and resolve the issue instead of simply marking us unavailable. UPS needs to address this issue with its Lathrop delivery team. Paying a very high premium for Next Day delivery is pointless if the driver does not make a reasonable effort to complete the delivery. This has happened too many times and needs to be corrected.

  Employees are dismissive and seem like they don't want to do anything. Plus, how does a shipping company run out of stamps...

  The staff here are poorly trained , very unprofessional and lack proper education to handle issues and concerns from issues they’ve caused. I tried to de-escalate the situation by asking for owners contact as well as corporate but staff member refused.
