  My experience at Best Western was mixed. During the first 10 days of our stay, the fire alarm in our room malfunctioned and continued beeping. We were initially told to disconnect it, but the beeping continued even after we did so. Shahad at the front desk eventually helped us change rooms, which we greatly appreciated. She also promised us 10,000 points as compensation for the inconvenience, but we have still not received them. I hope the hotel follows through on the promises made to its guests. The breakfast staff was one of the best parts of our stay. The two women working during breakfast were excellent: hardworking, extremely friendly, and consistently welcoming. They deserve recognition for the quality of service they provide. Unfortunately, our experience with some of the front desk staff was very different. One staff member frequently appeared to be sleeping at the front desk during the daytime. Another repeatedly denied our requests for housekeeping. During our approximately 3–3.5-week stay, we were given several different explanations for why our room could not be cleaned. For a stay of this length, arranging reliable housekeeping should not have been so difficult. Overall, the breakfast staff and Shahad’s assistance with changing our room were the highlights of our experience. I hope Shahad follows through with the promised 10,000 points and that management improves the consistency of housekeeping and front desk service for future guests.

  Thank you THAD and SHAHAD You have excellent customer service. Going above and beyond when I needed help. I enjoyed coming home here and feeling so welcome every time I see them!

  Todo muy bien, las habitaciones son amplias, el baño de buen tamaño y ambos muy limpios. Las instalaciones están bien cuidadas y el personal es amable. Llegamos desvelados y se había agregado una noche más de ultimo momento, nos apoyaron y no tuvimos que movernos de habitación. Pudimos descansar bien, ya que tienen cortinas black out y dormimos durante el día. El desayuno está muy bien servido, tiene varias opciones ricas. Fui fan de un french toast que pusieron, estaba delicioso. Nos hemos hospedado dos veces en este hotel y todo excelente.

  I have stayed at the Best Western LaMesa 3 times this year. Everyone I come to this hotel all the staff has been professional and the rooms clean. I wanted to call out one of the exceptional employees that went above and beyond during my recent visit. Irma is one of the employees that handles the morning breakfasts. Not only does she do amazing job setting everything up early, she greets everyone with a smile. But on numerous occasions she helps elderly guests with getting there coffee and helping them with their breakfast. Keep going with your exceptional service and you deserve a raise!
