I had a frustrating experience when I visited to ship a package. A female staff member (most likely a senior staff) asked for a physical ID. When I asked where the policy said a physical ID was required instead of a California digital driver’s license, she walked me to the sign at the front desk and told me to read it in a condescending manner. I could not find anything on the sign that addressed physical versus digital ID. When I pointed that out, she simply repeated that I needed a physical ID without explaining the policy. I understand that the store may have ID requirements, but I would have appreciated a clear explanation and more respectful service.
